The “R-Geometrics” and “College” capsule collections were developed by Lanerossi in collaboration with the print&textile designer Matteo Menotto . Projects that, starting from the brand's heritage , pay homage to its creative and cultural heritage.
Lanerossi expands the "Memory is my home" collection with a new capsule collection, developed in collaboration with the print&textile designer Matteo Menotto , consisting of two throws, each in different colors, which enhance the brand's heritage by revisiting it in a contemporary key.
A project that expands the line of archive editions "Memory is my home" created to tell the cultural and artistic intent at the origin of each creation of the brand, bringing back to life the richness of the archive and its products which, dense of history, still retain their charm and value.
R-Geometrics
R-Geometrics is inspired by an advertisement from the late 1940s, dedicated to the promotion of thermal fabrics, which reworked the iconic "R", the Lanerossi logo designed by Enrico Ciuti, with flamed graphics.
Hence the idea of revisiting the lettering and enlivening it with contrasting color backgrounds and a series of geometric patterns that give the plaid a contemporary look, creating an original visual effect. The velvet edge completes the plaid adding material preciousness. Made in a wool blend with a viscose back, the plaid is available in 5 color variants.
College
College was born from the graphic elaboration of the labels of Lanerossi products from the last century. The design combines different graphics arranged in horizontal rows and visually animated by strong color combinations.
The geometric suggestions are combined with a reference to the college world, above all in the elaboration of the Lanerossi writing, placed at the center of the composition.
To give a touch of preciousness to the product, the back is printed with degradé shades that recall the tones of the front of the plaid.
Made of wool blend, it is available in four color variants.
The first Lanerossi monobrand store has opened in the heart of Brera , the most evocative and dynamic district in Milan, amidst design, lifestyle, food, art and culture.
A fundamental stage for Lanerossi, whose history , over the course of the last century, has been closely linked with the Milanese city , from participation in the first editions of the Triennale Exhibition at the Palazzo dell'Arte since 1933, to the presence in the main textile fairs, to the choice of Milan for the launch of advertising campaigns, starting from the 60s signed by Paganino, Armando Testa and Pino Tovaglia.
